Chapter 7 Bankruptcy:
A Chapter 7 bankruptcy, also known as a straight liquidation bankruptcy, offers a “Fresh Start” to individuals and families struggling with credit card debt, repossessions, medical bills and personal loans. While Chapter 7 bankruptcy is liquidation, consumers often falsely believe they must lose all their assets, like their house or car. In fact, a Chapter 7 bankruptcy really means that it liquidates or wipes out all your debts! It is almost as if those debts never existed. In most cases, the Debtor keeps most of his or her assets (if not all) and wipes away those crippling debts. An experienced and skilled bankruptcy attorney or lawyer will (or should) plan with you in order to protect you personal belongings and assets. Chapter 7 bankruptcy is the preferred type of bankruptcy for most people. That is your fresh start bankruptcy! It lets you start over, move on and get a fresh start after discharging your debts. It is important to consult with an experienced bankruptcy attorney in regards to all of your Chapter 7 questions or concerns. Please call today, talk to our skilled debt attorneys, and find out more about our bankruptcy services. Let us prepare a “Bankruptcy BluePrintTM” to guide you through the bankruptcy process.
Chapter 13 Bankruptcy:
Chapter 13 bankruptcy is also known as debt reorganization. A Chapter 13 Bankruptcy typically lasts only 3 to 5 years and consists of the debtor making monthly payments to the Trustee assigned to his or her case. A common question is “What are my payments going to be?” Our skilled Attorneys will analyze your personal financial information and then determine the smallest payment legally possible that your bankruptcy trustee will most likely accept. A proposed payment is submitted when the debtor files for relief under Chapter 13. The Chapter 13 Bankruptcy payment may be adjusted before the Trustee, credit card companies, and other creditors accept your plan. But, rest assured that the payment will not be more than you can afford. Our Attorneys will work with you to assess a fair and reasonable monthly budget.
Your trustee collects the money you agreed to pay and gives a percentage of it to your creditors. With Chapter 13 bankruptcy, you do not have to pay to all your creditors back! And the ones you do pay back typically only receive a small percentage of what you owed them! The credit card companies, the banks, the mortgage companies and the medical bills only get a small portion of what you pay, depending on how much you can afford to pay each month. Contact our bankruptcy law firm for all of your chapter 13 bankruptcy needs.

Chapter 11 Bankruptcy:
Named after the U.S. bankruptcy code 11, Chapter 11 is a form of bankruptcy that involves a reorganization of a debtor's business affairs and assets. Corporations, limited liability companies (LLC), or sole proprietorships generally file Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which can allow time to restructure their debts. Many refer to Chapter 11 as business bankruptcy or corporate bankruptcy. Chapter 11 reorganization is the most complex of all bankruptcy cases and generally the most expensive. It should be considered only after careful analysis and exploration of all other alternatives. For more information on filing bankruptcy for a business or corporation, contact Pew Law Center to speak with one of our experienced attorneys to discuss the process of declaring bankruptcy.
Tax Motivated Bankruptcy:
Not many know that a bankruptcy can stop the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Due to our extensive tax knowledge and IRS relief practice, our bankruptcy attorneys have eliminated or discharged substantial tax debts for individuals and businesses. The Bankruptcy Attorneys at the Pew Law Center are authorized to speak with the IRS and request documents to discover if your tax debts can be discharged by declaring personal bankruptcy. Contact us today if you are struggling with back taxes, IRS collection (wage levy or bank levy), or owe the IRS or the State of Arizona.
